 Company History

1956 Arthur Henninger starts up the Henninger KG company as a branch of the AHK company based in Karlsruhe.
1960 A new production hall is built in Straubenhardt-Conweiler, Forlenweg 12.
1962 Helmut Henninger, the founder`s son, joins the company and takes over the management responsibilities.
1965 The headquarters are moved to Conweiler and Henninger KG becomes independently run.
1971 The company buildings are expanded to include more offices and recreational facilities.
1982 A new company building is built in Conweiler, Humboldtstraße 20



1996 Henninger KG celebrates its 40th birthday.
1999 Helmut Henninger sells the Henninger KG.
Jakob Kerres takes over the company and it now trades under the name Henninger GmbH & Co.KG. The business location, employees and product spectrum remain unchanged.

 Product History

1958 Manufacturing of the world-wide first ever completely ball bearing equipped manual and angle joints for dentists and surgeons.
1960 Research and development of the high-speed milling spindle with mechanical transmission in various sizes.
1965 Expansion of the high-speed milling spindle line to include more and different rotational speeds and powers.
1971 The first Henninger centre grinding machines are sold.
1974 Design and manufacturing of live centres and end drivers.
1982 Headway is made in the research and development of coolant conveyance systems and vertical milling heads.
1983 Air-Speeder turbines of up to 90.000 rpm are ready for production.
1987 The first high-frequency motor spindles are delivered.
1991 Product line Type 950 dressing spindles and the, now well-known, product line Type 882 adjustable vertical milling heads are launched.
1992 Product line Type 960 high-frequency motor spindles are developed further.
1996 Product line Type 940 frequency-controlled dressing spindles are manufactured to even higher precision.
1997 Type 965 high-frequency motor spindles with modular location / mounting shaft, automatic tool clamping and HSK 40 tool mounting are launched.
1999 Research and development of the CNC-controlled centre grinding machine for large batch quantities.
