Face Drivers
Face Drivers Type 300 - 303 with Mechanical Compensation

- Very large bearing surface. Housing moves with centre to compensate for differnt sizes of component centres.
- The centre point is exchangeable and is pressed into housing. This also prevents ingress of dirt.
- Driving teeth of HSS. The saw tooth form guarantees safe driving. Teeth can be easily reversed for opposite rotation.
- Circlip holds teeth so they are not released for out of square components and faces.
- Hardened hemisphere compensates for out of square components end faces.
- Cylindrical pin has withdrawal thread for extraction when removing housing.
- Circlip ensures retention of cop springs when driving teeth are exchanged.
- Drive shank is available in diferent Morse and Metric tapers and parallel diameters.
- Through the centre point, the cup springs ensure compensation for different component centre sizes.
- Screw for regulating centre pressure.

Face Drivers Type 300 - 303 with Hydraulic Compensation

For clamping of shafts with Ø 60 - 320 mm these Face Drivers where developed. They allow save and fast clamping. Since many years these units are successfully in operation.
For our coustomers needs we made the interface very flexible. Therfor morse taper MT 4,5 or 6 can be used on all units. The cup springs are housed in the shank. The housing of the face drivers is hardened and grinded so the driver bodies can also be clamped directly into soft chuck jaws. In this case a spring magazine is fitted.
The driving teeth are connected with each other by a (oil) hydraulic ringchannel system. The hydraulic system remains sealed, when shanks or driving teeth ar exchanged.
The driving teeth are of HSS hardened to special procedure. They are designed in a sawtooth form for a better driving. The adjustment of the driving teeth to drive in either direction is easily made. The spring pressure of the centre point is readily adjusted to adapt the driver to any job requirements. The centre point can easily be changed and comes with an effective stripper against dirt.
Ordering numbers and types respond to pricelist No. 300-001. Measures in mm. Changes and errors are possible.
